What have you done since Wando?: In January of 2000, went into AmeriCorps and was located in Perry Point, MD for 10 months. During that period of time traveled around the US helping out in communities of need.
In January of 2001, attended College of Charleston until 2003 and transfer to Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Then transfered back to CofC in 2004 and graduated with a degree in Geology and environmental sciences.
In August of 2003, I married Rob Newman. We then moved to Sedro-Wooley, WA at the base of North Cascades National Park. My husband is a law enforcement ranger for the National Park Service.
In August of 2005, we moved to Yellville, AR. He now works at Buffalo River National Park. I am currently a PSA manager at Lowe's Home Improvement Center. We are enjoying life in the Ozark mountains! This location is temporary......probably only for 3 more years. We are then looking to head to the Great Smokey Mountains or the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are trying to get a bit closer to the Lowcounty.
