10 Year Reunion

Reunion is June 6th, 2009 at Goldbug Island. Festivities will run that whole weekend: informal happy hour on at Water's Edge on Friday night, Shem Creek kayak tour on Saturday morning, IOP County Park beach day Saturday, tour of new Wando Saturday afternoon, reunion Saturday night, informal brunch at Crave on Sunday. minor details

couple questions...are there any details about the bbq/picnic or sunday breakfast/brunch things as far as cost, time and place and what is the dress for the reunion itself? thanks a bunch :)

Reunion Details

The whole weekend is casual - wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I'm planning on a cotton sundress Sat & Daniel is wearing khaki pants & a collared shirt. I imagine most everyone will be in flip-flops :)

The beach day Saturday is very informal. It's really just a designated spot to gather. Everyone can bring their own chairs, drinks, foods etc. We chose to do it at the county park on 14th Ave b/c there are bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards there. Parking at the park is $7. Or you can try to find a street spot near 14th ave and walk over. The tent will be out there from 10 to 4 but you can come/go whenever!

If you are interested in kayaking, it's $50/person and can be booked at 843-884-7684. I'm really looking forward to this! It will be a guided nature tour of Shem Creek.

One of our former administrators (Lucy Beckham or Kim Wilson) will be giving a tour of the new Wando at 3 pm on Saturday. Let B.V. know if you plan to attend this! I don't want Mrs. Beckham to come on a Saturday if no one's going to show up.

Nothing could be finer than to be a 99er

Many Thanks to BV for all of her hard work organizing the reunion. I know this is a little late, but since my trip back east everything has been super busy. I'm recently engaged to Mike Williams for those of you who had the privilege of meeting him at the reunion. I also want to thank everyone else who had a part in making our reunion happen. I had a blast!!! Great music, great food, and great people! Woot! Class of '99!!
